How much will my framing cost?

The cost of your project depends largely on your choices of materials and the size. We can give you a rough estimate by phone or email, but the best way is to stop in, (don’t forget your project!) and we can look at design ideas that fit your budget. While we can give prices over the phone it is so much easier for everyone when you simply bring your project in.

 

How quickly can custom framing be done?

Our normal turnaround time is 10 days, but we stock a wide variety of materials so we are ready to handle most next-day or even same-day framing needs. If you have a special situation, call us at 970-245-6999. If you are coming to Grand Junction for the day, plan on making us your first stop and we’ll see what we can do to have your project ready to pick up later in the day.

 

What happens to my art when I leave it here?

Every piece is placed in a protective folder and stored flat on special racks until your order is ready to go into the frame.

 

Will you notify me when the order is ready?

Absolutely! We try our best to have your project ready on the day we told you, but sometimes issues arise. We will always call you so you know if your project has been delayed for any reason. If you have a special order it may take longer than 10 days to complete.

 

What if I’m not happy with my choices when I get it home?

If something didn’t turn out like you expected, please let us know and give us a chance to fix it. We want you to be happy with your art since you are going to look at it every day. Bring your piece back in and we’ll be happy to work with you to change it so you’ll be happy with your final project.

 

Will my picture be ready to hang?

Your picture will have an appropriate hanger on the back. We also will give you a nail for the wall when you pick up your project. If you need some hanging advice, let us know. We’re here to help.

 

I left my art there over three months ago — do you still have it?

Yes. Your order is safely stored until you come to pick it up, but we prefer for you to pick your item up as soon as possible so you can begin enjoying it. We always call when your order is done and then we will do follow-up calls for two months. After that, we will try contacting you in other ways like email or letter. After six months we will be worried that something may have happened to you. If you need to arrange special payments please call us at 970-245-6999. We know life happens. Call us and we can make arrangements for delivery if needed.

 

Do you stretch canvases? Even one I have had rolled up?

Yes, bring it in and we can discuss your options.

 

Do you sell art supplies?

Our sister store, the Art Depot is no longer in business so we do not have any art supplies. We do however sell framing materials to DIY.  Items like foam core, mat board, framing hardware, and glass. If you have any questions, just let us know. We love to help!

 

Do you sell prints or other artwork?

We do have prints and framed art for sale, along with other gift items.

 

Do you make custom mirrors?

Yes! If you need a custom mirror to fit a specific space in your home or business, come see us. We can make one using any frame on our wall. We offer flat and beveled mirrors.

 

How long does it take if I just need a mat or glass?

In most cases that can be done in one day, or sometimes even while you wait. We know your time is valuable and if we can make your day easier by eliminating a return trip we will do it. Sometimes we are able to accommodate that, but if not we will let you know what time to return for your mat or glass.

 

I am moving. Do you sell products to protect my art?

We have cardboard corners to help protect the corners.  Any other items can be found at a packing supply store.

 

What is the oddest item you have ever framed?

We don’t say no very often and because of that we have framed some pretty odd items,  We have been framing since 1986 which means we think we have seen it all … until the next item walks in the door!
